and I suppose that is partially the reason they fascinate me. When they’re used properly they can evoke, excite, energize, but they can also wound and torment. They can fuel our imaginations and conjure up other worlds. They can roll through our minds like a chaotic sea. They can rally up our courage or lull us into sleep. How easily we toss them about, without thought.
