I finally imported the last batch of photos from my camera onto my laptop. Among them are my last trip to Bulgaria (last summer/autumn 2017) and the trip to Rome shortly after. We went to Hungary and Romania as well but it seems I didn’t managed taking photos while in Budapest (I was sick, the weather was cold and wet and we were there for 3 days). I also didn’t take any photos while in Romania but that portion of the trip ended up being a fiasco and somehow sight-seeing was waylaid. The Rome pictures turned out wonderfully and I will be sharing those with you over the next few weeks.
We stayed at a hotel right across from the Trevi Fountain, I think it was the Fontana Hotel but I will have to check. I loved Rome and I didn’t think I would. I love it just as much as I do Paris. I think it has something to do with it being filled with Art. Everywhere you turn there are little visual delights, exactly like the stone flowers in my photo.
