Monday Mosaic: Autumn

It appears that once in awhile, thanks to an unusually rare El Nino cycle, we do get Autumnal Bliss in my neck of the woods. It has been unseasonably cool and wet but the colors produced from this change in climate is wonderful. Birds and little critters are eating for what will undoubtedly be an early winter this year. Sadly, I haven’t seen the deer lately since Deer Hunting Season started last Saturday.

So, enjoy this mosaic of Autumnal Weather and Furry and Feathered Friends from the 2.5 acre wood…

Autumn Storms…

result in leaves that bloom and fade in color…

Leaves fall and a frenzied search for food begins and results in entertainment for two very curious kittens…

Our Squirrel-friend consumed our potted plants, so no need to cover them before a big freeze, they were a tasty snack and just in time for a surprise…winter, it seems…has arrived…

Photos taken by Pamela with a Nikon DSLR 5300. Believe it or not no special filters were used for storm pics or leaf colors. Just lucky to be at the right place at the right time and that rarely happens.
