2019 Creative Challenge
Somehow; somewhere I lost my creative mojo and I miss it. I took the month of January to get the last of the boxes unpacked from the move in April. Yep, it has taken me this long to get unpacked…sort of. The boxes actually didn’t arrive here until the last few days of August by then it was too hot and unusually rainy and I didn’t get very far. I am still riding the minimalism bandwagon and therefore still have things that I can let go of but there is one thing that I discovered I miss. I miss being creative.
I have discovered that in my zeal to recover from Bipolar I have become very rigid with my daily routine and that needs to stop. I am having trouble letting the rigid control go, so, to kill two birds with one stone (as the saying goes) I have decided to make this a year of Creative Challenges. I get to put creativity back into my life and I am going to simultaneously let go of all my “to do” lists…hopefully.
Please feel free to be creative too and do the challenge as well. There really aren’t any rules. You can use any medium, any style: doodle, draw, paint, photography, sculpt, sew, knit/crochet, craft, write, sing, etc.,. If it makes you happy and its creative do it. We will be starting the Challenge in February. I will post the theme for the challenge on Monday the 28th of January to give us all some time to think of what we want to do. I will also post the challenge guidelines on that day. I am excited about this and I hope that you are too.
